This blog is meant to be a place to share ideas, experiences, and materials used in the teaching of high school world language classes. Though I’ve been teaching for 20+ years, this year has been a metamorphosis in many ways. I changed schools and now get to combine both of my fields of study: medicine and Spanish as I teach “all the Spanishes”. Going from a huge school to a tiny one has been one of many Aventuras Nuevas this year. Away from school, I love spending time on other adventures with friends and family.
Hola! I love your chat mat for the quarantine. I have created a slideshow/unit based on the song “En mi cuarentena” by Juan Andrés Ospina. I would like your permission to include a link to your mat as part of the resources. I am not selling this unit (not my song!), but I would like to offer it for free in my TPT store. Can I include the link?
Yes, thank you for asking. Please send me the link & I’ll include it here too. 🙂
Hi there. Do you have a suggestion on how I can show your house hunters online to my students? I love your worksheet for it. Thanks!
Thank you for reading! I’ve been able to stream it, but everyone’s situation varies so much that it’s hard to recommend a solution.
Hola! Thank you so much for your blog. I really like your weekend chat mats. Are these available for purchase in TeachersPayTeachers? The reason I ask is I would like to edit some of the activities to fit our Wisconsin seasons. For example on your updated “quarantine” chat mat you have I rode my bike. Because it’s winter students don’t do that in Wisconsin. I’d like to replace it with skiing or snowmobiling. I also want to be able to modify for the times of year (holidays, making cookies, etc.)
Gracias!
Hi Jennifer, they are available for free here. I’d be happy to make a WI-friendly one, just let me know what activities you’d like included. 🙂
